Houghton Apps LTD ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled in Astro Scale and our other mobile applications.
1. Data Collection and Local Storage
Astro Scale does not require you to create an account with us. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal identifiable information to our own servers. Game progress, high scores, and cosmetic preferences are saved locally on your device.
2. Third-Party Services
While we do not collect data directly, our apps utilize standard Google Play services to function:
- Google Play Game Services: Used to provide automatic sign-in, cloud save synchronization, and leaderboard functionality.
- Google Play Billing: Used to safely process our £3.99 in-app purchase for the Commander VIP Pass.
- Ad Networks: We use certified ad networks to display advertisements globally.
These third-party services are governed by Google's own privacy policies.
3. Children's Privacy
Astro Scale is designed to be enjoyed by all ages, including children. We strictly adhere to the Google Play Families Policy, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We enforce global family-safe ad serving, meaning ads are explicitly filtered for child-appropriate content and do not use personalized behavioral tracking.
4. Data Deletion
Because your game save data is stored locally on your device and in your personal Google Play Games Cloud Save account, you can delete this data at any time by uninstalling the application, clearing the app data through your device settings, or managing your saved games in the Google Play Games app.
